Concert in Stengård Church, March 21st 2019
Rune Solvang has played numerous concerts in Denmark and also in Germany, Sweden and Israel. He has also participated in masterclasses with Peter Feuchtwanger and in Tel-Hai in Israel with Viktor Derevianko.
In 2005 he was awarded the Ester Vagning Memorial Scholarship and in 2006 won 1st prize in the Academy's scholarship competition for pianists and received the Borghild and Helge Hauergaard Scholarship. In Israel, he won the Sara Lahat Prize for best performance of a piece of newly composed music. Previously, he has participated several times in the Danish Steinway Festival, and he won 3rd prize in 1995.
Rune Solvang has been a permanent pianist in the Virum Choir since 2014 and has since 2022 also been a permanent pianist in the Lyngby Senior Choir.
